Working with the North Western Program Alliance, the construction of Bell Station in Preston
formed part of the Victorian Governments Level Crossing Removal Project.

The new Bell Station is designed to Department of Transport and Metro Trains Melbourne
standards, ensuring better safety for all road and public transport users. 

Enhanced safety at the station includes CCTV on platforms, waiting areas and station entrances, and
facilities for Protective Services Officers. Clear sightlines and open and well-lit areas with LED lighting
in the station and car park increases safety.
