The Gollin Building is a rare example of Queen Anne style architecture. Built in 1902 it illustrates the economic revival in Melbourne following the depression and collapse of the property market in the previous decade. We worked with our partners Rork Projects, who under took the refurbishment of this existing heritage building. Works included refurbishment of Basement to Level 4 allowing for detailed fire separation and full upgrade of services between floors to meet compliance. Revitalizing this space by exposing its heritage features such as exposed brick work and vaulted ceiling to level 4. The project combines heritage features with contemporary exposed services. This space is fully DDA compliant with ambulant and DDA facilities over 4 levels allowing for maximum leasing flexibility.
